Easter on the Farm
Just like in years past, we're eagerly anticipating the celebration of spring that comes with Easter on the Farm. When we were young, our families celebrated with baskets and colorful eggs, fun activities enjoyed together, and of course time spent outdoors in the cool promise of the new season.
Before the holiday, decorate for it with a gorgeous handcrafted wreath. At our Easter Wreath Workshop (April 2, 6:30 pm), you'll learn how to turn spring greenery and floral into a unique decoration for your door. Choose from provided materials and learn the basics of wreath composition as you turn your artistic eye to the new season.
Then, join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 11, 9 am - 2 pm. To ensure we have enough eggs for everyone to find and enjoy, you'll choose the number of eggs you'd like to find online before the event. That way, we'll be able to meet everyone's needs and ensure that every kid (and kid-at-heart) gets the best Easter experience.
Don't miss the chance to see the fascinating art of Natural Horsemanship in action as well. Lillan Roquet will lead an hour-long demonstration of her approach to horses. She employs connection, compassion, and control to help horses and people understand and work with one another in positive ways. You'll hear from her about the philosophy behind her methods, and then watch as she demonstrates with horses so you can see how this gentle but assertive method works. If you're curious about a new way to work with horses sign up to see the demonstration here.
We can't wait to see you on the farm!
