Come find your place on the farm this coming Friday, June 14, as we host a family-friendly movie night. We'll be settling down at 9 pm for a showing of Where the Red Fern Grows, a time-tested classic about childhood, growing up, and the deep love of a boy for his dogs. Come a little early to grab a food truck dinner, then lay out your blanket for the movie, projected right on the barn. It's a chance to curl up with loved ones, gather with your community, and enjoy the start of the summer. We hope this film will inspire as many conversations in your families as it has in ours. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Summer is finally here and cold smoothies are the perfect way to enjoy your farm-fresh produce. Here's one of our favorite recipes using recently ripened peaches we just brought into the Market, fresh-picked strawberries, and the organic vanilla you're receiving this week:

2/3 cup chopped frozen peaches
1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup loosely packed fresh spinach
1 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons raw oats
1 tablespoon almond butter
4-5 large ice cubes
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 

    Combine the peaches, strawberries, spinach, almond milk, oats, almond butter, vanilla, and ice in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and top with peaches and granola, if desired.

    Beet greens - one bunch

    Baby Tatsoi - one bag
    Tatsoi is a very versatile green, equally suited to being served raw or lightly cooked. To make it easy, just use tatsoi anywhere you'd use spinach. Lightly steam or sauté it, wilt the leaves with a warm dressing, or add them to a soup at the end of cooking.

    Krista's Baking Co. was founded by Krista Nelson in 2014.  After graduating from college a year early and spending a year doing marketing for an ice cream company, Krista did what she had her heart set on: she quit the 9 to 5 to follow her dream of owning her own business, letting her sweet tooth guide the way.
