This Week in your Simple Share...

Carrots - one bunch
Roasted Carrot Soup
 
Parsnips - one bunch
Honey Glazed Roast Carrots and Parsnips 

Radishes - one bunch
Garlic Parmesan Roasted Radishes
2 bunches radishes quartered
4 garlic cloves minced
2 teaspoons rosemary fresh or dried
2 tablespoons butter or extra virgin olive oil
sea salt and black pepper to taste
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated 

Preheat oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. In a bowl add radishes, melted butter, minced garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Toss well to combine. Roast for 45 minutes. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese to coat all the radishes. Bake for another 5 minutes until crisp and golden. Once done serve the roasted radishes as a side dish or as a meal on its own. Enjoy!

Green Onions - one bunch

Green Onions are very unique. They have a lot of uses and you can use them in many dishes from breakfast to dinner. One of the great things about them, is the ability to re-grow them. Simply cut them well above the roots, place them in a small glass of filtered water so the roots are covered, and in a few days, you should start to notice the new green growth on the onions. A few days later there will be even more growth. When they are sufficiently tall, you can cut them and start the process again!

Pasta Sauce - one jar

This Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce would be the perfect pairing for a large bowl of fresh spaghetti squash or noodles. To make an even heartier meal, you can add the ground beef also included in your Simple Share this week.

Ground Beef - one lbs

Ground beef is a very versatile food. Mallory, our market manager, enjoys cooking onion and ground beef together to make tasty tacos.
