October 2020, Week 2

It’s a fresh day. A new start. Another chance to inhale the clean, crisp air. To bear witness to all things that change, and all things that stay the same. To relish in the comforts of what’s familiar, and to challenge yourself to get acquainted with those paths that lead just outside your comfort zone.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Consider exploring the farm a little further than you had the last time you visited. To ask questions you’ve never asked before. To venture further into the fields, creating the opportunity to discover the perfect pumpkin for you - the one that required a little more courageousness, a little more adventure, to be found.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’re here, eagerly waiting to guide, inform, and discover with you.

The color of its hard shell will be varying shades of green and yellow depending upon variety. Although the Christmas Melon is perfect on its own, its versatility allows it to be included in a range of meal occasions including for breakfast, as a snack, salads, appetizers, desserts and cheese platters paired with a crisp white wine.

We enjoyed our share this week. The raspberries were delicious, and didn’t even last the afternoon from when we picked up our share. We gobbled them right up! The Christmas Melon tastes like a cross between a watermelon and cantaloupe, but with a milder flavor. It was a fun new fruit for us to try.
